Q: How do I sign up for an account?

A: You can apply for an account here. We'll review your account within 24 hours (usually much sooner) during business hours and get back to you ASAP. You'll receive an email if your application has been approved, and you'll be able to start shopping right away using the email address and password you entered in your application. If you have any trouble, get in touch with us at support@freshcutmarket.com.

Q: What is Freshcut?


A: Freshcut is an online marketplace where flower farmers list their products for sale to wholesale buyers like florists and supermarkets.

Q: Who can buy flowers on Freshcut?


A: Freshcut is open To the Trade only - florists, supermarkets, event florists, etc. In short, we sell to businesses who re-sell to their own retail customers. This means that you must have a valid Resale ID/License for your state. These are easy to get if you own a business that sells to others, and we recommend getting one if you sell your flower designs to others. Having a Resale ID means that since you are promising to 're-sell' your items, you do not need to pay sales tax on them since your customer (the end customer) will pay Sales Tax to you. 

Q: Who can sell flowers on Freshcut?


A: Freshcut Farms are big and small, from 1 acre of specialty cut flowers to 500+ acres of roses. Freshcut Farms are located in the USA and abroad. Many of our farms are Certified American Grown or Rainforest Alliance farms. You can see the name of the farm you're buying from on every product page.

Q: I'm a DIY bride and want to place a really big order of flowers! Can I buy from you?


A: Sorry, Freshcut is "To the Trade Only". This means that you must have a valid resale certificate to establish an account with us. Freshcut is a Members-Only site for florists and other wholesale buyers. It's how we are able to offer the best, true farm-direct pricing to our buyers.

Q: Is Freshcut a wholesaler?


A: Sort of! We don't have a warehouse and we don't buy flowers in bulk and then re-sell them. We are an online marketplace platform only, connecting flower farmers directly to florist buyers. Our headquarters is in Arlington, VA, but the flowers on Freshcut are never routed through us. That means that they are as fresh as can be - shipped straight from the farm to you with no pitstops in a warehouse along the way.

Q: What about shipping?


A: All flowers listed on Freshcut are shipped free to your shop's doorstep. In fact, we don't add ANY fees or charges to the product price you see in our online catalogues. That means there is never any "checkout sticker shock" - the price you see is the price you pay. Full stop.

Q. HOW are flowers shipped?

A: We only ship with farms who have experience in shipping flowers direct to their end destination. Most of them use overnight services, or a combination of refrigerated trucks and overnight services. Every farm is responsible for their own shipping logistics and operations. 

Q: What are the prices like on Freshcut?

A: Products on Freshcut are competitively priced and always include Free Shipping to your shop's doorstep. You'll find you can save a lot of money when buying directly from the farm and skipping the warehouse middleman!

Q: Can I see an availability list before I sign up?

A: With over 2000+ products on Freshcut and more being added every day, the best way to view current products is to create an account and check out the products for yourself.
